Parallel to the 29th edition of the European Biomass Conference & Exhibition (26-29 April), a dedicated Workshop of EUBCE on biofuels in Horizon 2020 / Horizon Europe has taken place on 26 April (online).
The European Biomass Conference & Exhibition is the largest biomass conference and exhibition in the world. The 2021 hybrid and global conference, which focussed on biomass, bioenergy and bioeconomy, has taken place in Marseille (France) as well as Online.
The EUBCE brought together the greatest minds and latest advancements in biomass, with the aim of accelerating research and market uptake across the globe. During the conference, over 2,000 experts from both academia and industry shared and discussed groundbreaking ideas, technologies, applications, and solutions for the sourcing, production, and utility of biomass. These topics are closely related to the IDEALFUEL project.

Workshop: Horizon Europe – Actions for bioenergy, biofuels, and renewable fuels
On 26 April, the Clean Energy Transition Unit of the European Commission’s General Directorate of Research and Innovation/Clean Planet Directorate organised an information event Workshop on Horizon Europe – Actions for bioenergy, biofuels and renewable fuels.
This Workshop served as a parallel event for the 29th edition of the European Biomass Conference & Exhibition and took place from 12:15 to 14:00 CEST (online).
During the workshop, a presentation on Horizon Europe European Partnerships has been given to target clean energy and mobility.
