During the 21st International Symposium on Wood, Fiber and Pulping Chemistry with focus on lignin valorization, Alexandra Radu of TUe gave a talk on recent results focusing on carrying hydrodeoxygenation of lignin-based feedstocks using bimetallic transition metal catalysts towards marine fuel applications. Studies on model compound reactions, as well as real lignin feeds were discussed during the event with around 200 attendees.
