Since 1994, Uniresearch B.V. (UNR), an independent grant-consultancy company, has specialised in the startup and management of technology innovations. The company provides high-quality services helping clients find funding opportunities and prepare applications for regional, national, and pan-European grants like the European Commission’s Seventh Framework Program (FP7) and Horizon2020. Uniresearch’s full services support customers throughout each stage of a research and innovation project: from project definition, through consortium-building and proposal writing, to contract negotiation, project execution, and dissemination of results. More examples of EU research projects managed by Uniresearch can be found at www.uniresearch.com.
In the IDEALFUEL project, Uniresearch has been assigned the task of project management facilitator and lead partner for dissemination, communication, and exploration activities. Uniresearch has a team of qualified consultants, bringing together a mix of technical, scientific, and business administration backgrounds. Based on the management experience gained in over 150 collaborative R&D projects, project governance structures and management tools have been developed, including a web-based communication tool that provides a central archive of all project-related files, an online reporting function, up-to-date performance and progress overviews (both technical and financial), a shared webserver that enables the uploading/sorting of project files by all partners, and a platform for (technical) discussions. Second key task of Uniresearch is coordinating the dissemination of IDEALFUEL results. Activities involve the design, setup, and maintenance of the project dissemination tools (project website, project flyers and newsletters) and the co-organisation of workshops and (final) project events.
