A video has been created to explain to you what partner Bloom is working on for the IDEALFUEL project!
Since the start of the project, Bloom has been working hard in its laboratory to research the extraction of lignin oligomers from biomass. In this video the steps of the extraction process are explained as we follow the work of the Bloom scientists in the laboratory. The results are an important step towards the overall IDEALFUEL goal: to develop a Biogenic Heavy Fuel Oil with ultra-low sulphur levels that can be used as drop-in fuel in the existing maritime fleet.
