IDEALFUEL celebrates its 1st birthday this month! Since the project has started in May 2020, the partners have worked hard towards IDEALFUEL’s goal: to develop an efficient and low-cost chemical pathway to convert wood-based non-food biomass into a Biogenic Heavy Fuel Oil (Bio-HFO) with ultra-low sulphur levels that can be used as drop-in fuel in the existing maritime fleet
